Privacy Policy — Practical Clothing
Last Updated: July 13, 2026
Practical Clothing ("we," "us," "our," or "the Brand") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of everyone who visits our website, joins our waitlist, or purchases from us. This Privacy Policy is intended to give you a clear, complete picture of what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and what choices and rights you have. Please read it carefully. By accessing or using our website (the "Site") or placing an order with us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.
If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, we ask that you refrain from using the Site or providing us with your personal information.
1. Who We Are
Practical Clothing is an independent clothing brand operating primarily online through a Shopify-powered storefront. For the purposes of this Policy, Practical Clothing is the "data controller" — meaning we determine why and how your personal information is processed. Our contact details are provided in Section 12 below if you ever need to reach us about privacy matters.
2. Information We Collect
We collect several categories of information, depending on how you interact with the Site. We only collect what is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.
a) Information You Provide Directly
Waitlist sign-ups. If you join our waitlist to be notified about discount codes or upcoming product drops, we collect your email address. This is the only information required to join the waitlist, and we do not ask for anything beyond what's needed to send you those notifications.
Order and checkout information. When you place an order, we collect the details necessary to process and fulfill it, which typically includes:
- Full name
- Shipping address and, where relevant, a secondary contact address or landmark for delivery purposes
- Phone number (so our delivery partner or courier can reach you)
- Email address (for order confirmations and updates)
- Order contents, quantities, sizes, and order value
Customer service communications. If you contact us — by email or phone — for support, order questions, sizing help, or complaints, we collect whatever information you choose to share with us during that exchange. This might include your name, contact information, order number, and the substance of your inquiry. We keep a record of these conversations so we can provide consistent, informed support if you reach out again.
Account information (if applicable). If you create an account on our Site, we collect and store the login credentials and profile information associated with that account, including any password (stored in encrypted/hashed form by Shopify, never in plain text) and, where enabled, two-factor authentication details.
b) Payment-Related Information
We currently accept Zelle, USDT (cryptocurrency), and Cash on Delivery (COD) as our payment methods. Because these are manual, off-platform payment methods rather than integrated card processors, we do not collect, transmit, or store full card numbers, bank account credentials, or cryptocurrency wallet private keys through our Site or checkout process.
Where payment or delivery-related details are collected during checkout, we use that information strictly to:
- Calculate the correct delivery fee based on your location and the distance/zone involved, and
- Build an accurate understanding of where, and how, to deliver your order (e.g., confirming an address is reachable by our courier, or that a landmark description is clear enough for delivery).
Any transaction reference numbers or confirmation details you share with us for a Zelle or USDT payment (for example, to confirm that a payment has been sent) are used solely to match your payment to your order and are not used for any other purpose, such as marketing or profiling.
We do not use payment or delivery information to build a financial profile of you, and we do not share it with any party other than those directly involved in fulfilling your order (see Section 4).
c) Automatically Collected Information (Site Analytics)
Our Site is built and hosted on the Shopify platform, and we use Shopify's built-in analytics and infrastructure to operate the Site. As a normal part of operating an online store, Shopify automatically collects certain technical and behavioral information on our behalf whenever you visit the Site, including:
- IP address and approximate geographic location (derived from IP)
- Device type, operating system, and browser type/version
- Referring website or source (e.g., how you arrived at our Site — search engine, social media, direct link)
- Pages viewed, products browsed, time spent on pages, and click patterns
- Cart activity, including items added or abandoned
- Cookie identifiers and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5)
We use this information in aggregate, and sometimes at an individual level, to understand how visitors use the Site, identify which products and drops generate the most interest, diagnose technical issues, and improve the overall shopping experience. For details on how Shopify itself processes this data as our service provider and data processor, you can review Shopify's Privacy Policy and Shopify's Consumer Privacy Policy.
d) Information We Do Not Collect
To be transparent, there are categories of information we intentionally do not collect or request, including: government identification numbers (unless required for a specific customs/import situation and only if you voluntarily provide it), sensitive personal data such as health information, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, or biometric data. If any such information is ever volunteered to us unprompted (for example, in a customer service message), we will not use it for any purpose and will delete it as soon as reasonably possible.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
| Purpose | Examples |
|---|---|
| Waitlist communications | Notifying subscribers about discount codes, promotions, and upcoming drops |
| Order fulfillment | Processing your order, confirming payment, calculating delivery fees, coordinating with couriers, sending shipping/delivery updates |
| Customer service | Responding to inquiries, resolving issues, handling returns or exchanges |
| Site improvement | Understanding traffic patterns, identifying popular products, improving navigation and layout |
| Security | Detecting and preventing fraud, unauthorized account access, or abuse of the Site |
| Legal compliance | Meeting recordkeeping, tax, or regulatory obligations where applicable |
We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Marketing Communications
If you've joined our waitlist, you'll receive emails related to discount codes and product drops. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in those emails or by contacting us directly (Section 12). Unsubscribing from marketing emails will not affect transactional emails related to an order you've already placed (such as shipping confirmations).
4. How We Share Your Information
We are selective about who we share your information with, and we only do so where it's necessary to run our business or required by law. The categories of recipients include:
- Shopify, our e-commerce and hosting provider, which processes order, account, and analytics data on our behalf as a data processor, under its own privacy and security commitments.
- Delivery and courier partners, who receive the minimum shipping details necessary (name, address, phone number) to deliver your order.
- Payment confirmation, where limited details (such as a transaction reference number, sender name, or payment amount) may need to be shared with or verified against records from a payment channel (e.g., a Zelle-linked bank or a blockchain explorer for USDT) purely to confirm your payment went through.
- Professional advisors, such as an accountant, if needed for legitimate business, tax, or legal purposes, and always under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal and regulatory authorities, if we are required to disclose information to comply with a law, regulation, court order, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Practical Clothing, our customers, or others.
- A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets — in which case we would take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to be protected under equivalent terms.
We never share, rent, or sell your personal information to third parties for their own independent marketing or advertising purposes.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Like most e-commerce sites, ours uses cookies and similar technologies (provided through Shopify) to make the Site function properly and to understand how it's used. These generally fall into a few categories:
- Essential/functional cookies — required for core features like keeping items in your cart, remembering your session, and completing checkout. The Site will not function properly without these.
- Analytics cookies — help us understand traffic patterns, popular products, and overall Site performance, as described in Section 2(c).
- Preference cookies — remember choices you've made on the Site, such as currency or display settings, if applicable.
You can control or disable cookies at any time through your browser settings. Please note that blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Site — such as your shopping cart or checkout — from working correctly. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies (e.g., for retargeting ads), but if this changes in the future, we will update this Policy accordingly.
6. Data Security
We take the protection of your information seriously and apply several layers of security:
- Two-factor authentication (2FA) is enforced on all administrative and backend accounts that have access to our store, customer data, or order information. This significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access, even if a password were ever compromised.
- Platform-level security. We rely on Shopify's infrastructure, which includes PCI-DSS-compliant systems, encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), and regular security monitoring at the platform level.
- Access limitation. Only individuals who genuinely need access to customer or order information — for example, to fulfill an order or respond to a support request — are granted that access.
- Manual payment verification. Because we use manual payment methods (Zelle, USDT, COD) rather than storing card data, there is no card database on our systems that could be exposed in a breach.
Despite these measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach that poses a real risk to your rights or personal information, we will notify affected individuals and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
If you ever suspect unauthorized activity related to your account or an order placed with us, please contact us immediately using the details in Section 12.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as it's reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including:
- Waitlist emails are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
- Order and transaction records are retained for as long as needed to fulfill the order, handle any returns/exchanges/disputes, and meet any applicable bookkeeping, tax, or legal obligations (which may extend beyond the point of delivery).
- Customer service records are retained for a reasonable period to allow us to provide consistent support if you contact us again, after which they are periodically reviewed and deleted if no longer needed.
- Analytics data collected via Shopify is generally retained in aggregate or pseudonymized form and is subject to Shopify's own retention practices as our processor.
When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Right to deletion — request that we delete your personal information, subject to any legal or legitimate business reasons we may need to retain it (e.g., completed order records for tax purposes).
- Right to withdraw consent — for anything we process based on your consent, such as waitlist emails, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
- Right to object or restrict — object to, or ask us to limit, certain uses of your information.
- Right to data portability — where applicable, request your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, simply contact us using the details in Section 12. We will respond to legitimate requests within a reasonable timeframe. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests, to make sure we're not disclosing information to the wrong person.
If you are located in a jurisdiction with a specific data protection authority (such as the EU/UK under GDPR or California under the CCPA), you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with that authority if you believe we have not handled your information appropriately.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Site and products are intended for general audiences and are not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a child without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details in Section 12.
10. International Users and Data Transfers
Practical Clothing may serve customers in multiple countries, and our use of payment methods like USDT reflects an international customer base. By using our Site or placing an order, you understand and agree that your information may be processed, stored, and transferred by us and our service providers (such as Shopify) in countries other than your own — which may have data protection laws that differ from those in your home country. Where required, we take reasonable steps to ensure such transfers are conducted in a manner consistent with applicable data protection standards.
11. Third-Party Links
Our Site may occasionally contain links to third-party websites or services (for example, social media pages or payment provider sites). This Privacy Policy applies only to our own Site and practices. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
12. Contact Us
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy, or if you'd like to exercise any of the rights described above, please reach out to us directly:
- Email: practical136@gmail.com
- Phone (Customer Service): +58 424-4618926
We aim to respond to all privacy-related inquiries in a timely and helpful manner.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the tools and platforms we use, or applicable legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically so you're always aware of how we collect, use, and protect your information. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
